According to the creator this is an homage to the gaming greatness that is TIE Fighter. Which is evident from the cockpit displays, HUDS, sound effects, and imagery (such as the tac officer and briefing room). This is animated in a style reminiscent of 1980's/90's Anime. Sit back and enjoy.
